Description
Are you an experienced accounting professional with a passion for leadership and process improvement? We're seeking a Controller to take charge of key financial operations for one of our clients in the North Metro. In this role, you will oversee financial reporting in compliance with GAAP, manage budgeting and forecasting processes, and analyze manufacturing costs to identify efficiencies. You'll implement robust internal controls, manage ERP systems, and lead the accounting team to ensure operational excellence. Additionally, you'll partner with executive leadership to provide strategic financial insights while coordinating audits and ensuring regulatory compliance. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven leader eager to drive process improvements and support data-driven decision-making. Requirements • The applicant should have at least 10 years of experience in the field.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Corporate Accounting is necessary.
• The applicant should have substantial experience in Cost Accounting.
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is necessary.
• The applicant should have experience in team management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
• The applicant should show a high level of proficiency with financial software and applications.
• Experience in formulating financial strategies and implementing accounting policies.
• The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is crucial.
• The applicant should have a strong understanding of financial regulations and legislation.
• A detail oriented accounting certification, such as CPA or CMA, is preferred.
