Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller in the manufacturing industry. The Controller will oversee the financial operations and accounting activities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. This role involves extensive financial management and analysis, cost analysis, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with accounting and financial regulations.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare comprehensive financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Oversee the timely and accurate financial reporting to support management's decision-making.
• Coordinate the budgeting and forecasting process, developing and managing it effectively.
• Analyze financial performance against budgets, providing analysis and recommendations for variances.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
• Coordinate and oversee financial audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Manage the general ledger system, chart of accounts, and account reconciliation processes.
• Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions in adherence to accounting principles.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, including cash forecasting and working capital management.
• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and provide insights into the company's financial performance.
• Assist in identifying opportunities for cost control and revenue enhancement.
• Collaborate with tax professionals to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely payments to vendors and timely collections from customers.
• Lead and manage the finance and accounting team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems.
• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions.
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP).
• Expertise in managing Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Proven track record in Auditing.
• Familiarity with Budget Processes.
• Proficiency in Budgeting and Forecasting.
• Knowledge of Sage Accounting Software.
• Experience in Annual Standard Cost calculations.
• Understanding of the Manufacturing industry.
• Expertise in Manufacturing Cost Accounting.
• Familiarity with Manufacturing Costs and processes.
• Experience working in Manufacturing Plants.
• Knowledge of GAAP Accounting.
• Understanding of general Accounting Principles.
