Description Job Title: Financial Controller About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Financial Controller to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role with significant responsibility for all aspects of the company's financial operations. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a proven track record of success in a manufacturing environment, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: · Financial Reporting & Analysis: o Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. o Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports for management and external stakeholders. o Conduct variance analysis, identify trends, and provide insightful commentary on financial performance. o Manage the annual budgeting and forecasting process. · Accounting Operations: o Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger. o Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards (GAAP). o Manage the audit process and liaise with external auditors. · Cost Accounting: o Develop and maintain standard costing systems. o Analyze product costs and identify areas for improvement. o Perform cost variance analysis and implement corrective actions. · Team Leadership: o Lead and mentor a team of two direct reports. o Develop and implement best practices for financial processes and procedures. · Strategic Planning & Analysis: o Provide financial and operational analysis to support strategic decision-making. o Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. o Contribute to the development of company-wide financial goals and objectives. Requirements Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree in Accounting. · 3+ years of experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar accounting leadership role. · Proven accounting experience in a manufacturing environment. · Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles. · Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to create and utilize complex formulas and spreadsheets. · Experience with ERP systems. · Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. · Ability to work independently and as part of a team. · Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
