Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in New York for an organized and detail-oriented Controller. The Controller will be tasked with managing and optimizing financial operations, implementing accounting systems, producing financial reports, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The position involves working closely with the VP of FP& A to ensure smooth financial operations.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the processing of accounts receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payment collection.
• Collaborate with the VP of FP& A to maintain the financial stability of the organization, from forecasting to reporting.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our financial systems, including HubSpot and QuickBooks.
• Manage the preparation and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Prepare, edit, and finalize contracts with precision, ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Collaborate with the revenue team on contract renewals, expansions, and upsells, ensuring no detail is overlooked.
• Manage invoicing for executed contracts, ensuring accurate billing and timely delivery.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date HubSpot deal data, ensuring readiness for action.
• Identify and implement strategies to improve cash flow and client payment timelines.
• Support special projects, such as creating annual sales reports, refining operational systems, and providing financial insights to the VP of FP& A.
• Ensure the efficiency and accuracy of our internal network and other operational tools.
• Act as a resource for new ideas, looking for ways to optimize processes and improve operations.
• Oversee cash flow management to ensure liquidity and optimize working capital. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Functions
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Expertise in Auditing
• Understanding of Budget Processes
• Proficiency in QuickBooks
• Experience in B2B Saas
• Knowledge in Month End Close
• Ability to prepare Financial Statements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
