Description We are actively searching for a Controller to join our team situated in LAKE OSWEGO, Oregon. In this role, you will be an integral part of our business operations, handling a variety of accounting tasks, from managing accounts payable and receivable to auditing and budgeting. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity in an industry that's going through exciting growth and changes. Responsibilities: • Oversee all aspects of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and efficiency • Utilize accounting software systems to process financial transactions and maintain accurate records • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with GAAP and other financial regulations • Actively participate in budgeting processes, providing insightful inputs to optimize financial resources • Manage and monitor customer credit accounts, taking appropriate actions as necessary • Handle a variety of accounting functions, demonstrating versatility and adaptability • Utilize CRM and other tools like Crystal Reports to maintain customer records and respond to inquiries • Play a hands-on role in managing financial aspects of business growth, including acquisitions and expansions • Display initiative and self-direction in taking on tasks and projects, contributing to the overall efficiency of the team • Ensure the maintenance of financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts, using tools like 3M and Navision. Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in a Controller position or similar role. • Proficiency in 3M is required. • Must be adept at utilizing Accounting Software Systems. • Knowledge of ADP - Financial Services is essential. • CRM experience is expected. • Familiarity with Crystal Reports is a necessity. • Extensive knowledge of accounting functions is a must. • Must have experience with Accounts Payable (AP). • Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is required. • Auditing expertise is essential. • Must be capable of managing budget processes. • Familiarity with Navision is a requirement.
