Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Controller in Menlo Park, California. In this role, you will be vital in managing all accounting and financial reporting operations, ensuring compliance and promoting efficiency. The role requires deep knowledge of SaaS finance and ASC 606, along with the ability to drive financial strategies, manage audits, and implement best practices to enhance our financial operations. Responsibilities: • Oversee the creation of financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring their accuracy and timely delivery. • Ensure adherence to GAAP including ASC 606. • Manage the financial close processes on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, including reconciliations and variance analysis. • Provide financial insights and recommendations to leadership, supporting FP& A processes. • Collaborate with the CFO and executive team to refine financial strategies and enhance business performance. • Manage financial planning for SaaS metrics including ARR, MRR and LTV. • Oversee tax filings, audits, and regulatory compliance, coordinating with external auditors and tax advisors. • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, including international tax compliance if applicable.
