Job Description
Act as a business partner to the Plant Manager by ensuring timely, informative, and accurate monthly accounts reporting. Provide insights on plant performance, identifying challenges and opportunities to improve profitability. You will monitor key performance indicators, manage corporate budgeting processes, and maintain rolling forecasts to provide an updated financial outlook based on current business trends and economic conditions.
ResponsibilitiesComplete timely, informative, and accurate monthly accounts reporting on the performance of the designated plant.Identify challenges and opportunities to improve profitability and report to the Plant Manager and Sales Manager.Monitor key performance indicators.Ensure corporate budgeting processes are carried out and reviewed.Maintain rolling forecasts to provide an updated financial outlook based on current business trends and economic conditions.Provide what-if and scenario analyses on perceived events that may impact the plant’s performance.Develop and maintain plant Internal Controls.Manage net working capital, including inventories.Capex planning and ROI analysis.Conduct cost accounting and metal flow through analysis.Support cost savings and monitoring yield support projects to enhance productivity.Monitor conversion costs.Assist the Plant Manager and the Global Corporate Controller in special projects.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration required.Five years or more of related experience required.Certified Public Accountant designation preferred.Strong understanding of current accounting trends.Proficiency in cost accounting and financial reporting.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and managing large data sets.Experience with various ERP systems.Working knowledge of national and local tax regulations and compliance reporting.Additional Skills & QualificationsNimble, self-starter with the ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge and experience in continuous improvement.Work Environment
This position requires working onsite in an office environment. The role involves collaborating closely with the Plant Manager and other team members to ensure the financial health and performance of the plant.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
