Description We are seeking a Controller to join our team in Topeka, Kansas. In this role, you'll be tasked with the general accounting functions of our clients, including monthly account reconciliation, maintaining accurate records on Accounting Software Systems, and using tools such as Microsoft Excel and Thomson Reuters. Responsibilities: • Oversee the digitization of client files, ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of data • Utilize Accounting Software Systems to maintain and update client accounts • Execute general accounting duties for clients, including account reconciliation and closing books monthly • Harness tools such as Microsoft Excel and Thomson Reuters to perform accounting functions • Collaborate with multiple clients, understanding their specific accounting needs and providing solutions • Evaluate and quickly adapt to new technologies to enhance the accounting process • Ensure the accuracy of the Monthly Balance Sheet and Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation • Monitor client accounts, taking appropriate action when necessary • Maintain a high level of organizational skills to manage multiple accounts and tasks simultaneously. Requirements • Possess 3 or more years of experience in a Controller role or similar position. • Proficient in the use of Accounting Software Systems. • Demonstrated ability to perform all Accounting Functions. • Solid understanding and experience with General Accounting. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel. • Experience with Thomson Reuters is a plus. • Familiarity with Monthly Account Reconciliation. • Ability to manage and maintain Monthly Balance Sheets. • Experience with Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation. • Proficient in Account Reconciliation.
