Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller to join our clients team located in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina in the Real Estate industry. In this role, you will be expected to oversee the work of Accountants and Sr. Accountants, manage financial reporting processes, and ensure the accurate and timely management of Accounts Receivable and Payable. Responsibilities: • Oversee and coordinate the preparation of monthly financial reports. • Exhibit proficiency in all areas of Commercial Management, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Payroll, and Tenant Relations. • Independently onboard new properties. • Address and resolve issues identified in Monthly Financial Reviews. • Oversee and participate in Year-End Process and Tax Strategy planning. • Manage the work product of Accountants and Sr. Accountants, ensuring accountability and quality. • Utilize Accounting Software Systems, CRM, and Reports for efficient operation and data management. • Maintain and update accounting records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. • Audit financial documents and procedures, reconcile bank statements, and calculate tax payments and returns. • Develop and manage effective budget processes For more information please contact jerome.johnson@roberthalf com Requirements • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry. • Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems is essential. • Familiarity with CRM tools is required. • Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions is necessary. • Expertise in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is expected. • Proven experience in Auditing is required. • Familiarity with Budget Processes is essential.
