Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Controller in the manufacturing industry, based in Ladson, South Carolina. The chosen candidate will be tasked with the management of key accounting functions, without the supervision of staff, and will be a critical contributor to the financial operations of the organization. Responsibilities • Oversee the general ledger and ensure accurate financial reporting • Handle the close of accounts in a timely and efficient manner • Utilize Accounting Software Systems to streamline processes • Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to ensure financial stability • Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy of financial data • Manage budget processes to align with financial objectives • Utilize SAP for various accounting functions • Handle Manufacturing Cost Accounting processes to determine product costs • Understand the nuances of the Manufacturing Industry to better manage financial operations.
