Description We are offering a project opportunity for a small business Controller! This role is in the construction industry and requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively handle financial review, audit, and reconciliation tasks. Responsibilities: • Lead accounting functions and oversee extensive data cleanup activities • Conduct rigorous financial review and auditing tasks for a vast amount of financial data • Handle balance sheet account reconciliation and financial reconciliation tasks diligently • Establish back-office processes post-RIF and ensure smooth and efficient functioning • Utilize accounting software systems such as QuickBooks Online and Sage Intacct for various tasks • Provide financial training to team members as needed • Use Microsoft Excel for various accounting functions and data management • Leverage your construction accounting experience to handle industry-specific tasks efficiently.proje Requirements • The candidate must possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in a Controller or similar role. • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required. • A strong understanding and experience in managing all Accounting Functions is essential. • Experience in Auditing is necessary. • Proficiency in Quickbooks Online is expected. • Must have experience in Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation. • Expertise in Financial Reconciliation is required. • Familiarity with Sage Intacct is a significant advantage. • Experience in Construction Accounting is highly desirable. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary.
