As Controller, you will play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations of our organization, ensuring the integrity of our financial processes and compliance. The Controller will lead budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, payroll, compliance and reporting, working closely with leadership to drive financial strategy.

Key Responsibilities
+ Manage all aspects of financial operations, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, billing, collections and payroll.
+ Prepare and distribute financial reports to support decision making and provide recommendations and guidance to Board of Directors.
+ Develop, maintain and monitor company budgets for forecasting and planning financial goals, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
+ Complete month-end close and year-end close.
+ Manage/collaborate with annual third-party audit.
+ Ensure compliance with accounting standards, industry regulations, and company policies.
+ Identify and mitigate financial risks, including analyzing WIP (work-in-progress) for proper control over company/project costs and expenses.
+ Collaborate and provide financial oversight with cross-functional teams across the company.
+ Oversee and manage the time collection and payroll process.
+ Assist with benefits and insurance programs, compensation and contract management.
+ Work with vendors and brokers to provide the best possible solutions for General Liability, Worker's Comp, Professional Liability and other insurances.
+ Manage corporate investment strategy and 401(k) Plan.
+ Supervise and lead a team of accounting professionals.
+ Continuously evaluate and enhance financial processes, programs and controls.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including banks, vendors and auditors.
+ Oversee corporate auto fleet.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree, Accounting or Finance is required.
+ CPA/CMA is preferred.
+ Minimum 15 years general accounting experience including experience budgeting, forecasting, financial compliance and reporting, and payroll administration.
+ Experience working with MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams. Working knowledge of Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint and ERP systems would be helpful.
+ Effective communication and interpersonal skills are required, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
+ Strong leadership and team management skills is required.
+ Detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
