Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller to join our team in Woodbury, Minnesota. As a Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and aligning financial strategies with our organization's goals. Responsibilities: • Overseeing and managing all aspects of the general ledger, including the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes. • Preparing financial statements and management reports in a timely and accurate manner. • Managing daily accounting tasks, such as accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance. • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. • Developing, implementing, and monitoring internal controls to protect assets and ensure the integrity of financial reporting. • Leading the accounting team and fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. • Collaborating with department leaders to support financial planning. • Implementing process improvements and leveraging technology to enhance financial operations. • Partnering with leadership to develop and execute financial strategies that support growth and profitability. Requirements • Position requires a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role. • Proficiency in 3M is necessary for this role. • Must be adept at handling various Accounting Software Systems. • Knowledge of ADP - Financial Services is required. • CRM proficiency is essential for this role. • Familiarity with Crystal Reports is desirable. • Must have a strong understanding of Accounting Functions. • Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required. • Candidate must have a solid background in Auditing. • Experience in Budget Processes is essential. • Familiarity with WIP - Work In Progress is preferred. • Proficiency in Epicor and Epicor Erp is a must. • Experience in the Manufacturing sector is desirable. • Must be comfortable with Month End Close procedures. • Experience in Mergers & Acquisitions (M& A) is a plus. • Should have a background in Annual Financial Reporting. • Proficiency in Financial Reporting is required.
