Description We are recruiting for a Controller with a well-established manufacturing company in the Greater Sacramento area. Position Summary: The Controller will oversee all financial activities, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and compliance. This individual will work closely with executive leadership to drive financial performance and ensure sound fiscal management. The ideal candidate has a strong background in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, and ERP systems. Key Responsibilities: + Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, A/R, A/P, payroll, and financial reporting. + Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP. + Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. + Monitor and manage cash flow, financial risks, and internal controls. + Implement and maintain cost accounting practices, ensuring accurate product costing. + Ensure compliance with tax regulations, audits, and corporate policies. + Optimize financial systems and ERP utilization for improved efficiency. + Support executive leadership with financial insights and recommendations. + Manage and mentor the accounting team, fostering professional growth. Requirements Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred). + 5+ years of experience in a Controller role, preferably in manufacturing. + Strong knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, and financial reporting. + Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing accounting software. + Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills. + Excellent communication and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
