Description Controller Job Summary The Controller will hold a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring the accuracy of accounting processes, and providing strategic insights to support organizational growth. This position requires a strong ability to build cross-functional relationships, streamline financial systems, and translate complex data into actionable strategies. The Controller will lead accounting and financial reporting functions, mentor and manage a team, and collaborate with senior leadership to guide decision-making and achieve long-term business objectives. This role is based in York, PA and work in office. Responsibilities of the Controller will include: + Accurately supervise general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, and payroll activities. + Develop and mentor a team, delegating daily departmental tasks. + Provide timely, and accurate financial information to support business decision-making. + Direct all general accounting functions, including the monthly general ledger and financial closing processes. + Prepare and deliver internal management reporting. + Play a leading role in the financial analysis and due diligence processes. + Actively participate in strategic planning and execution, providing financial insights and recommendations to the executive team. + Explore and recommend opportunities for process improvement. + Lead ad hoc finance projects as necessary. Requirements + 8+ years of progressive experience as a Controller in a multi-operational environment. + Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required + MBA or CPA designation is preferred. + Demonstrated success in managing and mentoring teams. + Strong understanding of US GAAP and the ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines. + Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
