Description Responsibilities: • Oversee the accounting close process, ensuring timely and efficient results • Record weekly payroll expenditures and complete monthly bank reconciliations for multiple accounts • Analyze the ledger to ensure accurate capture of revenue and expenses • Liaise with external Sales & Use Tax team to ensure compliance • Manage the Accounts payable and receivable process, reviewing payments & receipts and improving overall processes • Prepare and administer weekly check runs, making recommendations around expenditures • Prepare cash forecasts, providing insight into opportunities and risks • Improve upon and maintain the General Ledger, monitoring fixed asset activity • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles • Coordinate and complete annual internal audits, partnering with the Financial Analyst for in-depth monthly/year-to-date variance explanations • Provide recommendations regarding accounting activities, ensuring adherence to best practices.
