Description We’re seeking a highly skilled Controller to lead the financial operations of our client's growing SaaS/software company. This strategic role requires extensive expertise in financial management for technology companies, a solid grasp of subscription-based revenue models, and QuickBooks mastery. Key Responsibilities: Financial Management & Reporting + Oversee accounting functions: AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger. + Ensure accurate QuickBooks bookkeeping and timely financial records. + Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial reports. + Provide actionable insights to support executive decision-making. Compliance & Revenue Recognition + Ensure compliance with GAAP and local/state/federal regulations. + Manage ASC 606-aligned revenue recognition for subscription models. + Lead audits and develop strong internal controls. Strategic Financial Analysis + Track SaaS KPIs (e.g., MRR, ARR, CAC, LTV, churn) for business insights. + Support cross-department financial planning and efficiency improvements. Technology & Systems + Optimize QuickBooks and integrate SaaS-specific tools (e.g., billing platforms). + Enhance financial operations through streamlined processes and platforms. Requirements • Proficiency in 3M software is necessary. • Familiarity with various Accounting Software Systems is required. • Experience with ADP - Financial Services is a plus. • Proficiency in CRM is crucial. • Ability to use Crystal Reports is essential. • Strong understanding of Accounting Functions is mandatory. • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary. • Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is required. • Auditing skills are a must. • Familiarity with Budget Processes is crucial.
