Description We are seeking a dedicated Controller to be an integral part of our team in Guilderland, New York. The primary focus of this role will be to oversee the audit process, manage financial statements, perform monthly close activities, and carry out financial analysis. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity and requires on-site presence. Responsibilities • Lead the audit process in collaboration with the staff and external partners • Oversee financial statement preparation and consolidation • Manage the monthly close procedures and ensure timely completion • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support strategic decision making • Ensure the accuracy of customer credit applications and maintain precise records • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions • Utilize Sage300 or similar accounting software for financial management • Oversee the accounts receivable and payable functions • Manage year-end closing activities • Support due diligence activities and internal audit processes. Requirements • Must have proficiency in Sage or Construction software / ERP • Ability to handle all Accounting Functions is a must • Auditing skills are required • Familiarity with Budget Processes is essential • Prior experience in Audit is a must • Must be skilled in Audit Prep • Experience with Year End Closings is necessary • Should have experience in Accounts Payable (AP) • Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
