Description An internationally recognized advertising and media company is looking for a Controller to lead its accounting function as it continues to grow. About the Role The Controller will oversee all accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance while working closely with senior leadership to drive financial strategy. This role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented leader with strong experience in GAAP accounting, process improvement, and financial controls. Key Responsibilities + Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including month-end and year-end close processes. + Ensure GAAP compliance and maintain strong internal controls. + Manage and lead the accounting team, providing mentorship and guidance. + Oversee financial reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger management. + Work closely with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. + Coordinate external audits and tax compliance. + Identify and implement process improvements and automation initiatives. + Assist with ERP system optimization (NetSuite experience a plus). Qualifications ✅ CPA preferred (or equivalent experience in a senior accounting role). ✅ 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role. ✅ Experience in the advertising, media, or marketing industry is a plus. ✅ Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls. ✅ Hands-on experience with ERP systems (NetSuite experience preferred). ✅ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. ✅ Excellent communication and leadership skills.
