An internationally recognized advertising and media company is looking for a Controller to lead its accounting function as it continues to grow. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, creative environment and play a key role in the financial management of a dynamic organization.
About the Role
The Controller will oversee all accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance while working closely with senior leadership to drive financial strategy. This role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented leader with strong experience in GAAP accounting, process improvement, and financial controls.
Key Responsibilities
+ Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including month-end and year-end close processes.
+ Ensure GAAP compliance and maintain strong internal controls.
+ Manage and lead the accounting team, providing mentorship and guidance.
+ Oversee financial reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger management.
+ Work closely with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
+ Coordinate external audits and tax compliance.
+ Identify and implement process improvements and automation initiatives.
+ Assist with ERP system optimization (NetSuite experience a plus).
Qualifications
✅ CPA preferred (or equivalent experience in a senior accounting role).
✅ 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.
✅ Experience in the advertising, media, or marketing industry is a plus.
✅ Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
✅ Hands-on experience with ERP systems (NetSuite experience preferred).
✅ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
✅ Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proven experience in Auditing and Budget Processes
• Expertise in using NetSuite and Microsoft Excel
• Strong skills in Management Reporting and Project Finance
• Ability to handle Month End Close procedures
• Proven ability in Analyzing Revenues
