Description We are searching for a Controller to join our team in Riviera Beach, Florida. This role will be a hybrid of remote and in-office work. As a Controller, you will be deeply involved in our ongoing acquisitions, focusing on data mining, financial statement reviews, and tie-outs. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed data mining activities to support acquisitions
• Review financial statements meticulously and perform necessary tie-outs
• Maintain a high level of analytical thinking to handle complex financial reports, including consolidations
• Show expertise in dealing with multiple software, indicating technical savviness
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis as needed
• Oversee accounting functions including accounts payable and receivable
• Participate in the annual budget planning and auditing processes
• Utilize accounting software systems effectively for various tasks
• Participate in mergers and acquisitions activities, specifically on the data side
• Ensure attention to detail and understanding of financial statements Requirements • Position requires a minimum of 15 years of experience in a Controller role or similar capacity
• Proficiency in 3M is a must
• Extensive experience with Accounting Software Systems is necessary
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is required
• Knowledge of DCAA regulations and compliance protocols is vital
• Experience with Epicor software is preferred
• Mastery of Accounting Functions is essential
• Must have experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proven experience in developing and managing an Annual Budget is required
• Background in Auditing is necessary
• Experience with Mergers & Acquisitions (M& A) is a plus
• Must have the ability to prepare and analyze Consolidated Financial Statements
• Capability to perform Ad Hoc Financial Analysis is necessary
• Familiarity with Financial Statements Consolidation is required
• Experience with Financial Statement Audits is essential
• Must have the ability to Analyze Financial Statements.
