Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Controller in the greater Waterbury area. In this role, you will play an integral part in managing and enhancing our financial processes, reports, and analyses to support our growth trajectory. Responsibilities: • Oversee daily accounting and finance tasks. • Enhance and streamline financial processes and reporting mechanisms. • Conduct financial analyses to guide business decisions. • Manage the month-end close process and journal entries. • Perform account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance. • Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting tasks. • Deliver financial reports for review and use in strategic planning. Requirements • Proficiency in Month End Close procedures is a must. • Ability to prepare and manage Journal Entries is required. • Experience with Account Reconciliation is essential. • Proficiency in using QuickBooks software is necessary. • Must have a strong background in Financial Reporting.
