Description We are offering a part time opportunity for a Controller to assist one of our clients in Richmond, Virginia. Working within the construction industry, the Controller will manage operational accounting, ensuring a prompt closing process. This opportunity offers a 1 day per week schedule. Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage operational accounting tasks • Ensure a timely and accurate closing process • Proficient use of QuickBooks for various accounting tasks • Experience in the construction or related industries will be an added advantage • Engage in high-level and hands-on tasks as required • Use Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level for various tasks • Ensure the Accounts Payable and Receivable processes are accurate and timely • Prepare and present financial statements and reports • Manage the full cycle payroll process • Handle month-end close tasks and financial reporting.
