Description The salary range for this position is $150,000-$175,000 plus bonus, and it comes with benefits, including medical, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance. To apply to this hybrid role please send your resume to john.sadofsky@roberthalf.c0m POSITION OVERVIEW: The controller will be responsible for working cross functionally with multiple department leaders to provide them with financial insights. A key member of the leadership team, this position is the focal point for financial planning and analysis, cost accounting and profit and loss statement control. This position assumes the responsibility of the integrity of financial reporting and internal controls. Provides guidance on operational and sales opportunities. DUTIES: • Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures. • Reviews and prepares financial statements • Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls. • Partners with department heads to maximize business value. • Support high-level company needs for product margins, metrics, actual to budget • Prepares budgets with team by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; making insight to drive impact • Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. • Manage cash daily to ensure adequate liquidity • Achieves budget objectives by scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions. • Lead accounting staff by driving development opportunities to increase the sophistication level of the department • Driving process and continuous improvement efforts through innovation and creativity while conforming to GAAP • Develop annual budget in collaboration with department heads • Protecting the business by keeping financial information and plans confidential • Ongoing safeguarding for compliance through separation of duties, controls, signoffs, and organized record keeping • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
