Description We are in search of a Controller to join our team located in Navasota, Texas. As a Controller in our manufacturing sector, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating and implementing financial objectives, managing accounts, ensuring compliance, and delivering accurate reports. This role offers an exciting opportunity for you to make a significant impact on our financial performance. Responsibilities • Evaluate and provide recommendations on both short-term and long-term financial objectives • Oversee all aspects of accounting within the organization • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive job cost system • Ensure effective measures for financial and HR compliance • Deliver timely and accurate analysis of accounts, P& L, budgets, and financial trends • Complete financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis • Take comprehensive inventory at the end of each month and adjust electronic inventory for accuracy • Report weekly cash positions and balance account registers • Prepare reports of sales figures for the prior month of the current year and the previous year • Determine commission payments for the sales force based on quarterly sales figures.
