Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller in Star, North Carolina, 27356, United States. In this role, you will be mainly involved in the manufacturing industry, with a focus on maintaining financial controls, managing banking requirements, and handling various administrative tasks. Your key responsibility will be to ensure the smooth running of the financial operations within the organization.
Responsibilities:
• Implement and maintain financial controls within the organization.
• Generate comprehensive financial statements and reports.
• Liaise with the designated CPA firm for all governmental and financial review statements.
• Create and implement accounting policies and procedure manuals.
• Oversee the interfaces of the general ledger.
• Handle all banking requirements of the company.
• Supervise assigned office personnel.
• Create an annual business plan and budget.
• Oversee quarterly and annual plant inventory.
• Collaborate with the purchasing agent for the plants’ raw materials; manage weekly orders.
• Perform other general and administrative tasks as necessary. Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Controller role or similar capacity
• Proficiency in Auditing and understanding of Budget Processes
• Experience in Manufacturing Cost Accounting is essential
• Demonstrated abilities in Cash Flow Management, including Cash Flow Modeling, Cash Flow Statements, Daily Cash Flow, Cash Flow Forecasts, and Cash Flow Analysis
• Proficiency in using SAP ERP and Oracle ERP systems
• Ability to perform Month End Close tasks efficiently
• Experience in Monthly Financial Reporting
• Knowledge of Inventory Accounting, coupled with experience in Inventory Planning & Reporting
• Experience in managing Raw Material Inventory
• Bachelor's or higher degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred
• Strong analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills
• Proven leadership skills with a track record of developing and leading high-performing teams.
