This is a high-visibility position that offers you a unique opportunity to help shape the company’s financial future, implement key systems, and drive growth. **Key Responsibilities:** **Financial Management & Reporting:** + Lead the preparation and submission of accurate financial statements, including SEC filings (10-Qs, 10-Ks, 8-Ks, and proxy statements). + Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and SEC reporting requirements. + Oversee general ledger activities, monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, and financial consolidations. + Collaborate with auditors to ensure smooth financial audits and regulatory compliance. **Accounting & Internal Controls:** + Develop and enforce robust internal controls and accounting policies to protect the company’s assets. + Lead the implementation of new financial reporting systems and ERP software to enhance efficiency. + Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax compliance. + Oversee accurate revenue recognition and cost accounting per SEC guidelines. **Cash Flow & Treasury Management:** + Support cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and banking relationships. + Collaborate with the CFO on debt/equity transactions and capital structure. + Ensure compliance with financial covenants and other key financial metrics. **Strategic Support & Business Operations:** + Work closely with the CFO and executive team to provide financial insights that inform strategic decision-making. + Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational efficiencies and reduce costs. + Assist with investor relations, including preparing financial data for earnings calls and investor presentations. **What You Bring:** **Education & Experience:** + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred). + 5+ years of experience in a senior accounting role, ideally in a publicly traded company. + Expertise in SEC reporting, SOX compliance, and GAAP. + Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting software. **Skills & Competencies:** + Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments. + Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. + Proven track record of improving financial processes and driving operational efficiencies. + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment. **Why This Role?** This is a rare opportunity to join a publicly traded company that is poised for significant growth.
