**Job Description** Aramark Destinations in Anchorage Alaska is seeking a Controller for Financial oversight of our Destination properties in Denali National Park and Glacier Bay National Park. The Alaska Controller is responsible for overseeing the preparation of monthly financial statements and the management of the Accounting Group. The position will report monthly accurate financial records, ensure we comply with financial regulations GAAP, and provide oversight for internal controls. **Job Responsibilities** + Preparation of financial statements and analysis must be prepared on a monthly basis. + Preparation other financial documents such as business reports, financial forecasts, and compliance reports. + Produces the annual budget and forecasts-works with all departments to produce annual budgets and forecast. + Assist management with important financial decisions. + Builds, develops, and manages the accounting team and accounting operations. + Management of external audits. + Recommends and develops policies, procedures, and internal controls, in conjunction with the various operating groups within the company to meet company objectives. + Monitor a company?s financial reports and determine ways to reduce costs. + Understand the financial status of a company to meet legal requirements and keep the financial state in good standing. + At Aramark, developing new skills and doing what it takes to get the job done to make a positive impact for our employees and for our customers. To meet our commitments, job duties may change, or new ones may be assigned without formal notice. **Qualifications** + Bachelor?s degree in accounting or finance + 1+ years Controller experience. + Strong Accounting skills to include balance sheet reconciliation, payroll, accounting, A/P, A/R. + Prior experience with producing financial statements and analysis. + Superior technical and analytical skills with proficiency in spreadsheets. + Ability to sort through various data sources and summarize details in business report format. + Demonstrated aptitude for learning modern technology. + Superior organizational, writing, and project management skills to effectively maintain and report on critical data. + Demonstrated effectiveness in written and verbal communication skills. + Demonstrated ability of suggesting and implementing process improvements. + Ability to work independently, prioritize and manage tasks to meet deadlines and expectations with minimal supervision. + Detail-oriented and good communication skills. + Ability to thrive in a dynamic and ambiguous work environment. + Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. + Customer service orientation; strive to exceed customer expectations. **About Aramark** **Our Mission** Rooted in service and united by our purpose, we strive to do great things for each other, our partners, our communities, and our planet.
