Controller/Business Partner Regional Functions and Central Items - Mobility

In this role, you will be responsible for the entire controlling of the Siemens Mobility US Central Items, from forecasting to budget planning, closing and reporting.

You will be the finance business partner for the global and local business functions, providing senior management financial analysis to support strategic plans and decision-making. If you enjoy driving continuous improvement on financial processes, we'd love to have you join our team!

What your day-to-day will look like:Preparation of monthly forecasts and annual budget activities ensuring transparency regarding P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reporting for regional business functions (P&O, IT, Marketing etc.) and selected central topicsDrive monthly closing activities, including journal entries, accruals and cost transfers to support accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with financial policiesMonitor and analyze financial critical metrics to proactively identify variances, areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunitiesPreparation and presentation of monthly reporting and ad-hoc analysis for senior management and international partnersDrive continuous improvement on financial tools through collaboration and digitalization enabling tangible productivityTo thrive in this role, you have:Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field; may be substituted with substantial years of working experience in similar position(s)5+ years of working experience in a finance related functionStrong analytical and interpersonal skills with a solution-oriented approach and can-do mentality Ability to work independently as well as in teams across internal and international organizationsExpert skills in driving financial analysis (Excel), ideally additional experience with analytics and BI products (e.g. KNIME, Power BI or Tableau)Proven understanding of SAP and SAC is a plus

This position is based in either Sacramento, CA, New York, NY, Pittsburgh, PA or Lexington, NC. We offer a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees. The base salary range for this position in Lexington, NC, or Pittsburgh, PA, is $109,100 - $128,100. The base salary range for this position in Sacramento, CA is $119,900-$140,900. The base salary range for this position in New York, NY is $130,800-$153,700, and the annual incentive is 10% of the base salary. The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
