Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Controller to oversee all financial aspects of our construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring financial accuracy and compliance, while providing strategic financial guidance to our team.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement financial procedures, controls, and systems to ensure compliance with company policies and proceduresOversee all financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, WIP, payroll, and job costingPrepare and review financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and completenessProvide financial guidance and support to team members and project managersManage the budget and forecast, identifying potential issues and recommending solutions

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role within the construction industryStrong knowledge of construction accounting and financial controlsExperience with financial reporting and analysisExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environmentNice to have: HR experience, residential construction experience, knowledge of AP/AR processes, experience with financial statements, familiarity with payroll systems, and experience with job costing
