We are looking for:
A Site Controller (Cost Accountant) who will partner with the plant management team located in Greenville, Texas by providing current forward-looking reliable, and timely economic information and analysis used to facilitate decision-making.
This plays a pivotal role in providing plant management with suggested recommendations for improvement based on the financial results. These improvements should be in the form of cost reductions and improved service to customers. Taking into account the complexity of this role, you should be familiar with manufacturing processes as well as supply chain processes to ensure an accurate translation into costing and financial reporting.
You will act in coordination with the GBU Finance team and will guarantee compliance with and adherence to the standards and procedures defined by Syensqo Corporate Finance.
This position is onsite in Greenville, TX (minimum 4 days a week).
We count on you for:
Follow closely internal developments within the GBU perimeter (financial structures, KPIs, etc.)
Maintain updated knowledge of the concepts, content and tools of the financial databases
Assist in budget & other forecasts:
Support the GBU Industrial Controller with information from own perimeter relevant for the preparation of the budget, the rolling forecast, and the ABC ranking (mainly fixed cost, possibly variable cost, capex, inventories and other performance KPIs)
Assist with analysis, validation, and reporting of business information, including proposals and advice for decisions:
Financial and non-financial data, available in ERP, to control and analyze the performance against the scorecard
Excellence savings and non-quality costs
Reliability of cost accounting key figures and/or P&L reporting
Define, with the Production Manager(s), the product costing
Analyze costs and variances in yields and consumption
Inventory impacts (inventory slow turn reserves)
Collect local business information to submit accruals when material

Experience & Education:
Bachelor or Master in Business, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or any Finance related field
8+ years of experience of related experience
Experience in cost accounting in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of SAP is a plus
Business warehouse knowledge is a must, and dashboarding tools like Qlik Sense would be a plus
Fluent in English
Working knowledge of Accounting

The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $95,000 to $118,000 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.16, or more, weeks of maternity/paternity and co-parenting leave, according to local regulations
