Responsible for closing the financial statements in a timely manner each month, prepares mid-month and end-of-month projections, and processes payroll for the hospital in a timely manner.Assists in the identification and collection of patient financial responsibility for services rendered, monitors and analyzes FTEs to maintain budget requirements, and enters AP invoices into the accounting software.Processes check run to vendors on a bi-weekly basis and monitors payer mix/UR for appropriateness of treatment.Reconciles bank statements on a monthly basis and with accuracy and within specified timelines and evelops plan and works towards strategic goals for continued growth of the Facility.Prepares actual vs. budget monthly reports within assigned timeframes.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or related field requiredMaster’s degree preferredPrevious experience in healthcare overall financial operations/controls requiredExperience in payroll also requiredKnowledge of in-patient psychiatric and chemical dependency hospital finance preferred
