ResponsibilitiesJOB DESCRIPTION:
Under the direction of the Facilities Shift Supervisor the incumbent; is responsible for ordering and restocking the Facilities tool room and par-stock inventory.
SERVICE INITIATIVE:
Create and ensure a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment Treat Guests with a sense of caring and individuality while effectively identifying their specific needsInform Supervisor of Guest needs which may require special accommodationsShow special recognition of frequent GuestsMaintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment for Guests at all timesConsistently welcome Guests, thank them for their patronage, seek ways to make them comfortable and express the desire to have them returnPresent a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance at all timesMaintain constant awareness of services, promotions, and events offered at the facility and inform GuestsHandle Team Member and Guest concerns/dissatisfaction and disputes timely and professionally to the Team Member/Guest satisfaction, while maintaining financial responsibilityPromote positive public relations and create an enjoyable atmosphere for allInspect and ensure a clean, safe working environment, notify appropriate departments to handle deficient situationsMaintain a professional and positive relationship with vendors, Guests and co-workersCreate a work environment that is safe, professional, friendly and conducive to a high level of morale, productivity and performanceExhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and proceduresDemonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discretely notifying appropriate management of concernsEnsure prompt and discrete notification to management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must adhere to the Seminole Tribe's Policies and Procedures.Orders parts, tools, and supplies needed for day to day operations of the facilities department.Keeps an Inventory check list to insure adequate stock is on hand at all times.Signs tools in and out of the tool room and is responsible for all tool maintenance and repairs.Maintains technical logs and records all relevant data as appropriate.Knowledge of Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s policies, procedures and schedules to insure minimal interruption to business operations and to prioritize projects appropriately.Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.Performs all other related and compatible/non-compatible duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess excellent hand/eye coordination as well as close vision.Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.High school diploma or technical certificate as well as a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years experience with commercial/industrial equipment or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.Prolonged period of walking, reaching, climbing and moving/carrying weight of up to 100 lbs.Must be able to work in an air conditioned closed cage type environment inside the maintenance shop.WORK ENVIRONMENT:
May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
