Summary:

To implement, manage and control finances and accounting systems. Responsible for overseeing accounting aspects of multiple processing facilities, including the creation of financial statements, costing analysis, application of companywide policies and procedures, A/P and A/R processing and reconciliation of all asset, liability, equity, revenue and expense accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

Enforce Pacific Seafood’s accounting policy while driving the implementation, application, and continual improvement of financial and accounting processes, procedures and controlsResponsible for period-end close process including journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, and operating statistical reportingDrive the implementation, application and continued improvement of financial and accounting processes, procedures and controls.Prepares or assists in the preparation of annual budgets and business planForecast short and long term financial performanceEvaluate company performance via budget to actual analysis and the use of comparative data and evaluation of operating ratios/statistics.Ensure that all appropriate tax forms, registration, licenses, etc. are accurately prepared and submittedConsult with management team on the financial and administration objectives, programs, strategies and action plansSupport corporate accounting team with necessary documentation for completion of annual audit and tax returnsPerform other duties, as assigned

What You Bring to Pacific Seafood:

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or FinanceTwo – four years of related experienceStrong GAAP knowledge

Preferred

AS400 and SAP experienceMBA, CPA or CMA PreferredExperience in Manufacturing or Seafood industryBilingual

Salary Range: $78,763 - $98,454 Annually
