Kforce's client, a hypergrowth MedTech unicorn, is seeking its first Controller/Assistant Controller to report to its CFO. This is a company that is scaling rapidly and addressing a massive need in the marketplace. The company's leaders sit in the Northeast, so ability to work ET hours will be helpful. Duties will include: * The Controller will be leading month end close, financial statement prep, general ledger work * Bringing accounting fully in house for the first time * Building the department correctly - building a team, proper controls, policies and procedures * The Controller will be managing the operational accounting team including A/R, A/P and payroll
