Description We are looking for a Controller (Plant) to join our team in the Oil & Gas - Field Services industry, based in Houston, Texas. The primary role is to manage and oversee the accounting functions of the plant, including the use of various accounting software systems. Responsibilities: • Oversee the implementation and usage of accounting software systems like 3M, Eaton, Epicor, and ADP - Financial Services • Carry out accounting functions meticulously and accurately • Manage Accounts Payable (AP) to ensure timely and accurate payments • Manage Work in Progress / POC • Develop and control the plant's annual budget to maintain financial stability • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting • Streamline budget processes to enhance efficiency and transparency. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Controller or similar role within the Oil & Gas - Field Services industry. • Percent of Completion experience • Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems is necessary. • Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required. • Knowledge of Eaton systems is a plus. • Proficiency in using Epicor software. • Strong skills in executing Accounting Functions. • Experience handling Accounts Payable (AP). • Ability to prepare an Annual Budget. • Prior experience in Auditing. • Proficiency in managing Budget Processes.
