CONTROLLERS

Controllers ensure that the firm meets all the financial control and reporting obligations of a global, regulated, and public financial institution. Our professionals measure the profitability of, and risks associated with, every aspect of the firm's business. Controllers also ensure that the firm's activities are conducted in compliance with the regulations governing transactions in the financial markets. Controllers Risk Governance Office (CRGO) is responsible for the dynamic identification, measurement and mitigation of firmwide financial reporting risks in support of regulatory mandates and corporate governance. CRGO also manages operational, technology, and other risks incumbent on the Controllers division.


REGULATORY OBLIGATIONS REVIEW GROUP (RORG)

RORG is an independent review group that provides continuous monitoring and assurance of the accuracy of the Regulatory Reporting Requirements. Its primary responsibility is to effectively challenge the rigor and accuracy of the firm’s and the Bank’s internal systems/processes supporting regulatory compliance. The independent verification process helps detect and identify potential issues with conformance with instructions and firm policies, data quality, and control effectiveness. Review of this information helps to identify process and reporting gaps, and will be the foundation for determining the examination activities to be conducted. RORG serves to complement the firm’s other independent risk-management infrastructure and internal audit function.


RESPONSIBILITIES 

Develop an understanding of firm’s regulatory reporting requirements including Capital Planning processes and controls
supporting the reporting process and systemsConduct independent reviews of the various regulatory reports filed by the Firm including verification of the regulatory instructions,
data accuracy/ aggregation and reporting complianceAssess design adequacy and operating effectiveness of controlsRaise action items and independently validate remediation plansProvide effective challenge of stakeholder process(es) and outcomesLiaise across relevant business, technology to prioritize risks, challenge decisions, assumptions and drive appropriate risk
responseDevelop and maintain effective and constructive stakeholder relationships

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this Jersey City, New Jersey, United States-based position is $75000-$100000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
