Position Overview:

This Controlling Professional / Financial Analyst 5 position will be responsible for providing financial accounting/controlling support to the Healthineers IT Support Function within the Healthineers Accounting Functions Controlling organization to ensure the IT Function achieves their targeted financial goals. These controlling responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, complex variance analysis, cost monitoring, management reporting, and allocations to the Business Areas/Business Lines. This role will require effective collaboration with other team members and stakeholders within the Support Functions and Business Areas/Lines with strict adherence to deadlines/deliverables, while balancing the need for accuracy and efficiency throughout all aspects of the work. Specific responsibilities will include the following:


Responsibilities:

*Provide accounting/controlling support for US SHS IT groups to achievement of global IT financial targets in coordination with the global IT controlling team, ensuring compliance with Company policies and relevant Accounting standards

*Correlate external contracts, FTE expense and system expenses with the proper areas in the IT expense structure.

*Determine and maintain key IT-related criteria such as the allocation methodologies, hourly rate calculations, headcount tracking and time reporting.

*Effectively lead and participate in special ad hoc assignments and projects.

*Explore ways to improve existing processes and initiate ideas for efficiency and expense reduction.  Successfully define workflows, jobs, and reporting relationships to obtain optimum effectiveness.

*Lead US SHS IT monthly closing activities, including charging the Business Areas/Business Lines, P&L Analytics in a timely, accurate manner

*Prepare, review and publish monthly financial results and coordinate information flow with Function Management and Business partners

*Prepare budgets and monthly forecasts

*Build relationships with partners on the global team and train/educate others as needed


Qualifications:

MBA and/ or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related discipline.Minimum 7+ years of successful experience in finance/controlling/accountingDemonstrated analytical skills including the ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data to draw conclusions and drive decisions Strong internal control aptitude and business results orientation, achieving targeted results within prescribed timelinesProven leadership skills such as successful personnel and/ or project management experienceAbility to influence people and empower team members to be proactive and focused on partnerships and results Ability to provide leadership and structure in a fast paced, dynamic environmentAdvanced communication skills to clearly present key issues and recommended actionsAbility to form relationships and collaborate across global matrixed functions. Expert knowledge in Excel and strong aptitude and proficiency in finance and controlling systems including SAP, NextGen, HERA/HOP

Travel:  up to 5%
