The Role:
Controls Automation Manager will lead, guide, and direct a large group of technical employees responsible for engineering deliverables in support of the organization's business objectives. Work is of a technical nature using independent judgment within the limits of GMS, focusing on Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness, Cost, and Environment (SPQRCE). You will aid in analyzing and solving complex manufacturing and automation problems and assist in obtaining resources to effectively perform operations.

B.S. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (other technical disciplines may be considered if: 5+ Years direct technical controls and/or assembly knowledge & experience)Prior Salaried people leader experienceHas experience writing Appropriation Requests, NPP and MBC requests and has maintained project spending information for prior projects – on-time and on-budget history a-plusDemonstrated strong interpersonal skills and track record of working collaboratively with cross functional teams to achieve project/program deliverables on timeDemonstrated willingness to escalate emerging issues and leads team to resolve quickly and competentlyProficient in developing and adhering to MS Project timelinesWorks constructively with others under pressure to achieve all Project ImperativesStrong ability to multi-task and leverage resources to attain challenging goalsAbility to work OT and off-shift on an as needed basisAbility to travel around 25% of the time (US and international)Experienced in program management of automated systemsProficient in robotics, coding, programming, automation, deliveryWhat Can Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):
