What you will be doing

Support in house store monitoring and energy commissioning programs, leveraging knowledge in supermarket HVAC / Refrigeration and building energy management systems. Program will ensure consistent, effective daily operations of systems and communicate actual or potential facility performance issues with facility maintenance teams, service contractors, and 3rd party monitoring vendors. Assist in maintaining and developing systems, programs and procedures for all monitoring and commissioning processes, including coordination of developing and maintaining IT solutions. Collect, analyze and present appropriate program data to help improve performance and quality. 

The position will be based in Boise, ID.

Main responsibilities

Responsible for maintaining all functions and relationships related to building energy management systems and commissioning activities for all ACI division locations. Analyze HVAC/R trends or problems and report recommendations to stakeholders based on industry knowledge. Monitors workflows and optimizes daily monitoring procedures.  Improves facility and operating conditions in the ACI banners while reducing ACI retail repair and maintenance expense to meet company goals. Daily programming of energy management systems Daily work order review  Proactively work with facility teams to keep hardware in stores functional to allow for real time monitoring. Creates, publishes and delivers reports and scorecards accurately and within designated timeframes. Acts proactively and reactively in management of conflicts and team performance issues. Recommends/initiates actions to ensure optimum service levels. Develops and recommends process improvements. Performs additional related job duties as assigned

What we are searching for 

Relevant knowledge in the Refrigeration and HVAC industry  Thorough understanding of the refrigeration cycle and basic operation of refrigeration, and HVAC equipment as required. Understanding of EMS/BMS (Energy/Building Management System) programming, operating & repair skills desired. Contact Center, Customer Service, Grocery Industry, Facilities Management, experience is desired. Proficient in ability to analyze problems, develop a plan and manage the execution of the plan. Exceptional customer service and problem resolution skills. Exceptional communication skills of all types. Strong data analysis skills Strong organizational, planning and time management skills. Strong computer skills. Ability to prioritize workload and work between several projects/tasks. Excellent phone etiquette and a clear speaking voice.  Team player and builder. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Avaya/CMS reporting systems and work order management platforms.  Positive attitude and enjoy a challenge  Must be able to work with minimal supervision and possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Physical Environment

Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment. Limited travel might be required. Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at desk or computer terminal. Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment in the course of normal workday. Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties. Climbing may be required.
