Job Title: Controls Electrician

Shift: 7am-3:30pm

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Electrician for our plant on the west side.The role involves troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment using PLC troubleshooting skills.No programming is needed for the role.The ideal candidate will be able to read PLCs and assess issues that arise from automated equipment.You will perform repairs on 3 phase motors, switches, timers, power rectifiers, and photoelectric sensors.Additionally, you will use tools and equipment to complete tasks such as cutting, threading, bending conduit, removing and replacing conduit fittings, and junction boxes.Monthly and weekly calibrations and checks of the facility will also be required.

Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment using PLC troubleshooting skillsRead and assess issues from automated equipmentPerform repairs on 3 phase motors, switches, timers, power rectifiers, and photoelectric sensorsUse tools and equipment to cut, thread, and bend conduit; remove and replace conduit fittings and junction boxesConduct monthly and weekly calibrations and checks of the facilityRead, draw, and interpret electrical diagrams

Essential Skills:

Experience in commercial and industrial settingsAbility to read inputs & outputs and determine where issues are coming fromTroubleshooting off an HMI screenCalibrating equipmentRoot cause analysisExperience working with 24v-480v industrial equipment
