Controls Electrician
**Job Title: Controls Electrician** **Job Description** The Controls Electrician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of electrical control systems and associated equipment in substations and other commercial environments. These include protective relays, SCADA systems, RTUs, panels and wiring, and meters and instrumentation. This role will help design and implement complex, unique solutions with our customers. Safety, reliability, and adherence to industry best practices are paramount in this critical role. **Responsibilities** + Install, maintain, test, and repair electrical control systems and associated equipment. + Work with protective relays, SCADA systems, RTUs, panels, wiring, and meters and instrumentation. + Design and implement complex, unique solutions with customers. + Ensure safety, reliability, and adherence to industry best practices. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of controls experience in the electrical field. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Valid license and reliable transportation. + Access to own hand tools. + OSHA 10 certification. **Why Work Here?** Prevailing wage opportunities and competitive pay. Participation in on-call rotation for emergency response is required. Report to Maple Street shop, help load trucks, and ride along with the crew for the day. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, New York. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr.
