Controls Engineer Details:

Direct Hire position$85,000.00 to $104,000.00 /annuallyFirst ShiftElectronically troubleshoot and repair PLC controlled equipment using installed PLC/programming to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.Train maintenance technicians in the electronic troubleshooting and repair of PLC controlled equipment, including the use of installed PLC/programming.Lead the installation of new PLC systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company protocols.Develop and modify PLC programs to enhance system functionality and efficiency.Implement and oversee preventive maintenance schedules to ensure equipment longevity and reliability.Perform advanced stick and TIG welding, ensuring all welds meet sanitary standards.Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including troubleshooting steps and repairs performed.Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency.Ensure all activities comply with company safety standards and regulations.Work closely with other engineering and production teams to support overall plant operations and project implementation.

Controls Engineer Qualifications:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field..Demonstrated experience in PLC installation, programming, troubleshooting, and repair.Proficiency in advanced stick and TIG welding with the ability to weld to sanitary standards.Strong analytical skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and adherence to safety protocols.
