Job Overview
Working Conditions • Work is mainly performed in an office setting, with some time spent in a manufacturing environment• Occasional exposure to industrial operations including: temperature extremes from approximately 35ºF to 100ºF; noise levels in excess of 85 dB; moisture and moving machinery.• Travel is necessary, potentially up to 50% for individual site schedule.• While the majority of the tasks will be conducted on first shift, candidates must be prepared to provide support on all shifts, particularly for training-related items.EEOC & Disclaimer Great Lakes Cheese is an Equal Opportunity Affirmative Action Employer.
The Corporate Controls Engineer will be working in a large, highly-automated manufacturing enterprise with responsibility for the line automation, process control and process information systems. This will require working with original equipment manufacturers, outside vendors, engineers, equipment manufacturers and controls manufacturers as well as with the internal IT, Operations & Maintenance Departments.
