Job Title: Controls Engineer Job Description The candidate will be responsible for working independently with internal and external engineering teams to successfully deliver cross-functional projects that are of high-quality (e.g., on-time, on-budget, maintainable, low-defects, etc.). They will partner with project managers and external vendors to set project priorities, establish milestones, and drive schedules to meet deadlines. The candidate will influence technical documentation content, perform documentation reviews, dive deep into RCA and solutions, and competently represent system and/or equipment designs to both customers and other teams. Additionally, they will communicate project status, effectively answer project questions in detail, and regularly produce clear and concise summaries for the projects they own to their leadership/management team. The candidate will excel at developing good working relationships with vendors, engineers, managers, and peers, participate in design reviews, and support execution efforts between internal teams and outside vendors including equipment specifications, material flow, process design, and site layout. They will efficiently manage change order controls, purchase orders, and invoicing, build strong working relationships with Fulfillment Center leadership and their operations teams across multiple sites, as well as their Launch, Facilities, Process Engineers, and other business stakeholders. The candidate will identify and lead process improvement initiatives in support of operations teams and travel up to 30% domestically.
