CONTROLS ENGINEER

Looking for a controls engineer who is capable of designing the system based on specs from the client in order to operate new automation equipment. Must be able to do hardware design. Must be able to do panel design. PLC - ladder code. Must be able to understand ethernet design. IP addresses as it relates to the system. C code. MUST BE ABLE TO WRITE CODE IN PLC PLATFORM. This will be a contract to direct opportunity.

* Industrial Controls Design (autoCAD)

* Allen Bradley

* Start Up/Debug

Description:

The most ideal candidate is someone who is capable of doing controls design from scratch and then being able to set up the system in order for everything to communicate. AutoCAD electrical is the preferred design software. If designing the controls system is not their strong suit then someone who is capable of checking the design to understand the power voltages, power distribution, and the safety circuits they would still be VERY interested in. Once the system is created, programmed, and built they then also need to be able to make sure they can do the work that allows the system to communicate. They need someone who is capable of setting up the system to communicate through a internet system. Ability to use ethernet to communicate via device net and field IO. The overall goal is to create a controls system that meets the specs from the client. This is a position that is a cross between old world technology and new world controls with IT.

* Ability to understand the Ethernet design

* Ability to understand IP addresses as it relates to the system

* C code would be a big plus
