Job Title: Electrical Controls Engineer Job Description Engineering of industrial manufacturing equipment including electrical system design, PLC/HMI programming, project management, and manufacturing support. Reports to the Engineering Manager. Daily duties: • Create electrical schematics and panel layouts using AutoCAD Electrical • Assemble electrical system bill of materials • Develop and implement control programs for industrial PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs • Meet established deadlines through successful project management and scheduling • Support customers with machine troubleshooting • Manage electrical department of 7 electricians, fabricators, and panel builders • Collaborate with mechanical engineering team on design of machine functions and operations • Support research and development projects • Limited travel for installation and commissioning of new equipment at customer facilities Hard Skills + Create Bill of Materials + Manual Drawings and Manual Keys + R&D + Drawings in Solidworks or AutoCAD + Design of Systems as directed by management Job Type This is a permanent position. Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Rose Hill, Kansas. Work Environment Manufacturing Environment: Need someone open to going on floor and working with team to ensure product design and R&D and drawings are accurate. Will work closely with the Electrical team and have leadership opportunities as they progress within the company.
