Controls Engineer Job Number: 352729 Category: Quality Engineering Description: Job Title: Controls Engineer Location: ​​Greensburg​, IN Zip Code: 47240 Start Date: Right Away Job Type: Direct Hire Pay Rate: $65k - $100k/salary DoE Keywords: #ControlsEngineer #EngineeringJobs JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Troubleshoots / Repairs / Re-programs equipment and machinery to correct problems with products and processes related to production issues or customer counter measures. * Investigate / implement new sensors and/or machine improvements to aid Product Engineering in reducing downtime and increasing reliability. * Aid in creation of Test Piece Construction Matrix (TPCM) for new model assembly lines. * Build, Test, modify (TPCM) if necessary for the new assembly lines. * Aid in creation of documentation for new Assembly equipment including Assembly Equipment Requirement Sheets (AERS), Test Piece Construction Matrix. * Review / aid the controls programming, installation, and trouble shooting of new assembly production lines in house. * Advise / Assist maintenance personnel engaged in trouble shooting assembly equipment. * Willing to travel to vendors for machine run offs as necessary, both state side and abroad if necessary. * Contact OEM vendor / distributors for support with machine / component failures when necessary. * Complete additional tasks and assignments given by Supervisor/Manager. * Maintain and project a positive attitude with overall consistent and regular attendance. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Must be a US Citizen * Bachelor"s degree in Engineering, or AS Degree and 5+ years related experience * ​​PLC Programming, ladder logic (prefer OMRON) * Experience with robotics - Fanuc robots * Electrical control system - manufacturing experience * Excellent problem solving and communication skills (both verbal and written) * OMRON specific training for PLC's and Lab View * Experience in a fast-paced office/manufacturing environment is required If you are interested in this role, please apply via the apply now link provided.
