Job Description
Design, develop, and implement control systems for FillPro automation equipment. Program PLCs, HMIs, and other control devices according to customer specifications and FillPro standards. Collaborate with the electrical and mechanical engineering teams for seamless integration of control systems.
Project Integration:
Lead the integration of control systems with mechanical and electrical systems during the build phase. Assist the assembly team in debugging control functionality and resolving issues. Develop and execute system test plans, including I/O checkout and controls testing.
System Commissioning:
Oversee commissioning of control systems during installation, both in-house and at customer sites. Program, test, and troubleshoot system functions, including fault handling, mode control, and data collection.
Customer Support:
Provide on-site and remote support for system start-up, troubleshooting, and ongoing field support as needed. Assist with Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and provide customer training on control system operation.
Continuous Improvement:
Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement improvements in system reliability, performance, and cost-effectiveness. Participate in brainstorming and development activities for new control features and technologies.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including program backups and configuration settings. Prepare control-related reports and system documentation for customer handover, including system manuals and troubleshooting guides.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Lewis Center, Ohio.
Work Environment
This position involves both office-based engineering design and hands-on work on the manufacturing floor. Occasional travel is required for on-site system installations and customer support. There has been a recent uptick in sales in Florida and along the East Coast.
