Controls Engineer
Job Description:
Evaluate and fine-tune machine control programs on existing and new equipment to optimize reliability and performance. Analyze plant processes, design and implement improvements, and assist maintenance when needed for troubleshooting issues with hardware and processes. Work with others to detect problems and implement solutions. Collaborate with the Engineering team on new equipment purchases and installations. Maintain and upgrade SCADA and Data Collection systems. Ensure quality and safety standards are upheld.

5+ years of Electrical Engineering experience within a manufacturing companyBS degree in Electrical Engineering or EMETTechnical proficiency in Rockwell software applications and networking (ability to program PLCs and HMIs)Mitsubishi software and robotics experience (or willingness to learn)Working knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteAccountability for performanceTechnical capacity to manage data and utilize information technologyWork Environment:
This role is based in a battery plant. The engineering process team consists of 5 individuals (2 controls engineers, 2 mechanical engineers, and 1 plant engineer). The dress code is business casual.
