Controls Engineer

The primary responsibility of this position is to execute as the North American machine set up personnel (SV), increase Operation Availability (OA) through continuous improvement and problem-solving technical issues. This role will also support the Battery department's objective to execute Capital Projects from planning through Start of Production (SOP). Desired characteristics include perseverance, curiosity for enrichment learning, self-motivation, good communication skills, and humility. The candidate must navigate complex problem-solving at the regional level, decide appropriate work priorities, develop and execute schedules for said priorities, and report their status to the management group.

Work Environment

100% Onsite with 30% travel, including domestic and international trips to Japan for meetings, technical observations, and hands-on work after 3 months of hire. Requires steel-toe boots. Must be available for overtime, holidays, weekends, and shutdowns.
